Hi! My name is Tess. I am a 20 something southern gal living in my hometown of Nashville, Tn. I absolutely LOVE decorating and refinishing furniture. There is almost nothing more satisfying than seeing a diamond in the rough piece, and working magic with my own two hands to reveal something beautiful. Just like a 90′s talk show makeover, I get excited to see the results every time 
Growing up in a family in the music business, I have always had a love for singing, but I love just about anything creative. I studied creative writing at Belmont University. But I have always had this nagging habit to paint just about anything. As a teenager, it would not be uncommon for me to get in trouble for spray painting something I was not supposed to…oops! All these years later, I have learned to make that work for me. For about 4 years now, I have fallen in love with painting furniture, and have done hundreds of pieces.
A typical week for me includes having my hands full with a super busy but oh so adorable and worth it 10 month old, impromptu crafting projects, always being on the lookout for my next project piece, hours of different techniques applied to whatever current furniture I am working on, and lounging in my hammock on my wrap around porch with my latest book (yeah…. that part is only in my dreams).
